A new addition in the world of puzzle games is finally here for the Pocket PC, introducing Loomies!

Based on the wildly popular and addictive puzzle game Lumines for the PSP and Lumines Mobile, Loomies seeks to emulate that same successful formula and to make it accessible to even more mobile gamers.

With the same addictive and innovative gameplay as the mobile phone version of the game, Loomies brings new block shapes, new bonuses, more special blocks with great FX and extra colored blocks that will keep you playing for hours.

Clear the blocks by arranging the two-color shapes falling down the screen into solid color squares and watch as the sweeper clears them from the play grid. Link combos of blocks together for more points and make the most of special blocks such as detonators, time distorters and super bombs to help clear the level and unlock new skins.

How to play

Once you've started the game, you'll have a choice of three different play modes to select from. Start out by tackling the "Challenge" mode. Choose one of three levels of difficulty and attempt to unlock new skins and new types of blocks as you advance through the 20 levels of action. Certain blocks will boost your high score, while others will spark off spectacular explosions or even change the speed of the sweeper to allow you to rack up even larger combo's. You'll also find new block shapes to challenge your strategy and a third block color that'll make achieving your goal even harder!

On top of all that, Loomies offers two alternate game modes. In the "Single Skin" mode, choose your favorite skin and play for as long as you can to try and beat the high score. Finally, "Puzzle" mode will really test your powers of logic! You'll need to arrange blocks of the same color into shapes to match the picture drawn in the background.
